Ida Andarge is a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) specializing in behavioral health and therapeutic counseling. Ida is currently providing individual and group psychotherapy to adults, adolescents, and families. Ida uses an integrative approach to therapy, drawing from her training in mind-body therapies, cognitive behavioral therapy, and trauma focused approaches, to best meet the needs of her clients.

Ida received her Bachelor’s in Psychology at Virginia Commonwealth University. Wanting to improve the lives of others, Ida completed her Master’s in Clinical Social Work with an emphasis on behavioral health. When working with clients, Ida uses the person-in-environment model to better understand the unique presentation of an individual’s struggles. Ida loves to use mindfulness techniques such as meditation, breathing exercises, and yoga with clients. Ida encourages clients to focus on finding or restoring and maintaining a health balance in their lives.
